This year, the Active Transportation committee is partnering with Orillia Mayor Steve Clarke in running the event, and the new name will be the Mayor's Bike and Hike!
There will be three options this year, and the destination for all three "rides" is the mural in the Highway 12 underpass near James Street. The options are the following:
a) 3.4km round-trip walk from the City Hall, down the paved cycling/walking trail to the underpass.
b) 4km round trip bike-ride from City Hall, down West Street, onto James, to the underpass.
c) 7.8km round trip bike ride from City Hall, down West Street to Kitchener Park, back up to James via Olive Crescent / High Street / Shannon Street / Gill Street.
Place = Orillia City Hall Parking Lot (behind City Hall)
Time = 5:30pm assembly, rides depart at 6:00pm
